TCP was honored to attend Judy’s Mission Possible Luncheon

TCP donated $5,000 from the proceeds of AFTC 7 to Judy’s Mission for them to continue to spread ovarian cancer awareness.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Maria Cristina “Cris” Garza was a woman who is remembered for dedicating her life to helping others and sharing messages of Faith, Family, and Education. She devoted 35 years to the welfare and education of children as a teacher, counselor, personnel specialist, and parent liaison in several school districts across Texas. Cris also served on the board of directors for the Association of Advancement of Mexican Americans for many years. AAMA’s goal is to inspire and empower at-risk Latinos to pursue their potential and achieve success. Her strong faith and commitment never wavered even as she battled her 10-year fight against ovarian cancer. Even though she was the one fighting, her strength helped lift up those around her. Cris touched so many lives and inspired her children to carry on her vision of helping others. The Cristina Project’s goal is to help others help others.  It is our mission to teach the youth the importance of volunteering and giving back to their communities.
